About Us

Congrats to the Driftclimber Snowmobile Club! has just won Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations
Excellence Award for Snowmobile Club of the Year

Driftclimber Snowmobile Club! is the oldest snowmobile club in Nova Scotia, established in 1969. It was originally located in Nine Mile River and now operates out of Wellington. Driftclimbers was the 2005 & 2007 SANS Club of the Year.

We are in the process of looking for a future home in the Beaverbank area.

We have a family based membership of approximately 90 people. Our club works diligently with adjoining land owners ie. Barrett Lumber, Department of Natural Resources.

With the clubs two groomers we maintain 350 km.

Southern Area Wellington to Beaverbank to Rawdon & Uses the Red groomer
Northern Area Kennetcook to Stanley to Walton & Uses the green groomer

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK WITH YOUR TEAM.

THERE NO OTHER GREATER FEELING WHEN YOU ARE SITTING IN THE GROOMER SEAT AND A GROUP OF SLEDDERS GO BYE AND GIVE YOU THE THUMBS UP OR WAVE FOR A JOB WELL DONE OR STOP FOR A CHAT.

Once again thanks to ever one on getting & keeping the groomers on the trails, hope to help out when I get home if you still have snow.

We have a new groomer and need to get it ready for the up coming year.
